Ripple vs SEC lawsuit is in the spotlight of all cryptocurrency enthusiasts. Everyone eagerly watches every move in the court and waits for the final verdict. Attorney Jeremy Hogan has dropped some quick updates on the case and its potential outcome.
Settlement Discussion in Ripple vs SEC?
Attorney Hogan has revealed that an hour-long settlement discussion took place in the case a few months ago.

A Twitter user asked attorney ‘Can Judge Netburn recommend that the SEC settle with Ripple, since she’s seen all the ETH and XRP documents?
To this, Jeremy Hogan replied that Judge Netburn saw all the documents on camera. If he’s right, SEC is in the thick of it here, which could make a big difference.
SEC has filed conflicting objections and motions with the court. From Hinman’s infamous speech to Estabrook’s notes, the committee has made several assumptions each time they filed a reconsideration motion.
SEC previously viewed Hinman’s speech as “‘public guidance’,” later they filed a motion to reconsider it as his “personal views.” Recently, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse filed a motion against the SEC’s opposition to disclose “Estabrook Notes” in court. However, it is reported that the commission has used its delaying tactics to delay proceedings,
Attorney Hogan also suggested some outcomes related to the latest development in the lawsuit.
Which means the SEC has NO evidence at all about the meeting, but can only claim that Garlinghouse’s testimony is “self-serving” and… ALL of the testimony is self-serving. That is a very 2x weak sauce.
Which is to say, whatever the judge decides, the SEC is already dead here.

When can Ripple lawsuit be completed?
Attorney Hogan shared his wild guess regarding this proceeding in the case.

Earlier, attorney John Deaton, attorney for XRP holders in the case, also dropped some assumptions related to the case. He expressed some serious concerns about SEC’s preference for ETH, which could end in a settlement.
In response to Mr. Gensler in an interview, he said that Gensler is getting all this pressure in connection with the free pass for Ether Foundation, Vitalik, Lubin. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear about a settlement.
This directly indicates that if everything goes according to the Ripple, SEC will choose the settlement that will ultimately bring the commission a victory in the eyes of the public.
