Unlike the rest of the market, Curve . offers [CRV] was the only alt to record no losses in November and December. Instead, the altcoin continued its steady rally until reaching its local high of $6.51 on January 2, 2022.

Since then, however, CRV’s price action has had to navigate some tricky waters on the charts.

Curve came straight down

Consistent red candles and minimal recoveries subjected Curve to the same losses as other coins.

At the time of writing, the altcoin had lost 66.99% of its value. This has pushed CRV closer and in some cases even higher than the losses of other coins over a 3-month period. Still, at $2.47, it looks like CRV’s problems would only improve rather than worsen.

First, CRV is currently in a squeeze release losing its bearishness. In addition, after 20 days, the white marks of the Parabolic SAR finally reversed their positions and moved below the candlesticks. This could be the start of an uptrend.

Whether this will be an ongoing rally or not cannot be said for sure due to the volatility of the market.

The ADX crossing the 25.0 threshold is a good signal of support for the active trend, provided it holds its position.

However, the huge losses of the past few months also pushed investor profits down from 88% to just 28%. Currently, 68% of all investors are losing money.

This led most investors to sit out the losses, looking for the right opportunity to jump back in.

As a result, transaction volumes have fallen sharply lately. After an average of $104 million and a high of $473 million, the numbers have fallen to an average of $40 million.

At the same time, the TVL of the DeFi protocol has also fallen. In January, the TVL was $24.3 billion. On March 1, the same fell to $18.22 billion, a 25% drop.

The uncertainty of the market trend left everyone guessing about what the next step will be. Needless to say, this also applies to Curve.
