XRP News: Ripple’s native crypto, XRP price has not registered much movement in the last 7 days. However, other major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) have managed to maintain positive momentum. The stagnation in XRP price may be due to the delayed decision in the long-running XRP lawsuit.
Whales on XRP Accumulation?
It appears that major crypto whales are not affected by the recent price move or the pending outcome of the XRP lawsuit. According to WhaleAlert data, more than 540 million XRP (about $216 million) have been moved in the past 24 hours. The largest transaction on record by the tracker of moving 205 million XRP (approximately $81.7 million) to an unknown wallet.
However, several whales have taken advantage of the recent price drop to add more XRP to their wallets. Records show more than 76 million (about $30 million) added in multiple transactions. XRP price is down about 2% in the last 7 days while other cryptos are rising sharply. It is trading at an average price of $0.39 at the time of writing. XRP’s 24-hour trading volume is down slightly to $962 million.
Meanwhile, several whales have been caught dumping millions of XRP. According to the data, 75 million XRP (approximately $19.7 million) has been moved to crypto exchanges in multiple transactions.
