Bitcoin and Ethereum are also witnessing whale accumulation as the price continues to rise. The price of Bitcoin (BTC) is trading at $23,578 and the price of Ethereum (ETH) is trading at $1,615.
Whales collect these crypto tokens
According to WhaleStats, Shiba Inu (SHIB), Polygon (MATIC), and Decentraland (MANA) are the most used smart contracts and tokens collected by top Ethereum whales.
MATIC is one of the most used smart contracts in the top 5000 ETH whales in the last 24 hours, according to WhaleStats. Polygon (MATIC) network underwent an upgrade and hard fork in mid-January to mitigate gas cost spikes and resolve supply chain reorganization issues.
Santiment reported that a whale bought 59 million MATIC tokens worth $56 million. The whale was able to buy MATIC right before a 20% jump in the MATIC price. At the time of writing, MATIC price is trading at $1.19, up 7% in the last 24 hours.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) has witnessed massive speculation during the launch of Shibarium Beta. Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama points to Shibarium’s launch on February 14, Valentine’s Day. Whales sold SHIB until December, but bought Shiba Inu during Shibarium’s launch.
Shiba Inu is the most used smart contract and purchased tokens by top Ethereum whales in the last 24 hours. SHIB price is trading at $0.00001204, up 2% in the last 24 hours.
Decentraland (MANA) price has skyrocketed by more than 15% in the past 24 hours, with the current price trading at $0.78. The project has seen increased development activity in recent weeks.
Decentraland is the most used smart contract in the top 100 ETH whales in 24 hours. In addition, MANA is in the top 10 purchased tokens of the 100 largest ETH whales in the past 24 hours.
DOGE, ADA, AAVE among the top tokens purchased by BSC Whales
According to WhaleStats, BSC whales are accumulate Dogecoin (DOGE), Cardano (ADA) and AAVE. These are the top 10 purchased tokens from the 500 largest BSC whales in the past 24 hours. AAVE is back in the top 10 purchased tokens of the 500 largest BSC whales after Aaf V3 launches on Ethereum.
