The United Nations (UN) will commemorate Women’s Day this year tenure her first female-focused NFT showcase.
On March 8, the global women-led initiative “Boss Beauties” will present its new unique NFT art collection, titled “Boss Beauties to Watch” at the UN Headquarters in New York.

To organize this year’s livestreamed event, the UN is collaborating with global impact consulting firm 5th Element Group which launched earlier this month.
The event, which will include the exhibition of the Role Models collection, will also feature a full day of keynotes and panels with speakers from well-known brands, corporations and influencers.

Boss Beauties grew out of My Social Canvas, a company founded by Lisa Mayer, who for ten years has made it her mission to support women’s emancipation through mentorship and scholarship.
Released in September Open seathe Boss Beauties collection includes 10,000 NFTs, featuring digital portraits that “capture beautifully diverse and empowered women.”
In line with the message “together we are stronger”, the Role Models collection brings together works of art from global artists, featuring “real-life Boss Beauties throughout history, as well as modern Boss Beauties making history in the current workforce.
“The introduction of Boss Beauty Role Models at the United Nations is a historic moment that we are incredibly proud of,” said Lisa Mayer, founder and CEO of Boss Beauties.
Role Models will be sold through a charity auction that will culminate one day before International Women’s Day this year.
Proceeds will go to the Boss Beauties Scholarship Fund for Women and Girls through My Social Canvas, a non-profit organization.
“Having a collection with such a strong and inspiring message as the first NFT art collection to be displayed at the United Nations is truly monumental. More importantly, it aligns with our broader mission to empower women and girls at the forefront of technology, leadership and creativity,” added Mayer.
