The pledge of approximately $187 million comes from the South Korean Ministry of ICT, Science and Future Planning, and is intended to create a Metaverse ecosystem that aims to support digital content expansion and corporate growth. According to the official statement, the funds will be spent on completing various goals with the aim of creating a large digital ecosystem that goes by the name of Expanded Virtual World.
