Speaking of the ubiquitous community of NFT fans scheduled to gather in the Big Apple, Rich proudly shared that it’s a “very diverse and eclectic audience”:
“Ours is to give voice to the community. That’s what we wanted to do from the beginning. We are not a celebrity-seeking event, we want the community to feel like this is a place where they can be on stage and talk to the rest of the community.”
This single-minded intention to empower youth and passion with a platform is perhaps most aptly attested by the presentation of Unconference: an impromptu, unscheduled stage that welcomes all guests for a ten-minute slot to share their thoughts. and visions for space.

Ethereum (ETH) serves as arguably the most comprehensive asset within the NFT space, yet it is precariously holding the $1,200 price level at the time of writing, having dropped 35% over the week.
This drop has had cascading consequences on price floors and buying sentiment for major NFT collections, particularly profile picture projects, plunging the space into its inaugural bear market.
Speaking about the potential impact this fortune could have on the overall narrative, Rich wanted to express that art is the main utility of NFTs, and that his excitement remains for the connections and friendships that will be formed at the event, especially for example those during chance moments in informal conversations and between speakers on the same stage.
Quinn Button, Vice President of Growth at NFTNYC, agreed with the assessment that myriad utility use cases across different sectors will be showcased, highlighting music as one to watch:
“I think an interesting utility of NFTs will be how it affects the music industry, whether it’s royalties, merchandising, or generating new revenue streams to really connect musicians with their fans.”
NFTs for Good has seen a rapid acceleration in the spotlight this year, especially in relation to supporting Ukraine’s humanitarian relief effort and cultural diversity agendas.
At NFTNYC, topics within that realm, including sustainability, mental health and wellness, and philanthropy, will be highlighted in a total of 28 panel discussions and talks at Edison Ballroom South hosted by Chingari June 21-22 .
Cointelegraph reporter Rachel Wolfson will host a 15-minute fireside chat on June 22 titled: “Breaking the Boys Club Culture in Crypto: How NFTs are Bringing Women to Web3” at the Edison Ballroom Main .
