Crypto News: US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Gary Gensler will speak on emerging technologies, artificial intelligence and crypto market in an exclusive interview on Monday. This could be an interesting dialogue in the wake of the SEC’s recent setback in the form of the Ripple Vs SEC lawsuit ruling by Judge Analisa Torres. Gensler will also be questioned about the recent developments and risks associated with the rapid development of artificial intelligence.

Interestingly, this will be the SEC Chairman’s public reading just before his appearance before the Senate Appropriations Committee on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. He will respond to the committee’s review of the fiscal year 2024 budget for the SEC.

Gensler is popular for his strong anti-crypto stance and his persistence in the US SEC’s “come forward and compliance” approach. He is popular among crypto traders for his comments on all cryptocurrencies expecting XRP to be securities. But the recent Ripple lawsuit where Judge Torres announced that XRP was not a security could be a huge deal changer for US SEC officials.
