Our newest feature, Custom Orders, makes it easier than ever to trade cryptocurrency at the price you want, right from the Kraken app. Custom orders allow you to set a specific price for your cryptocurrency purchases, sales, or conversions.
Custom orders give you peace of mind knowing that your trade will be executed at the price you set. This eliminates the need to constantly monitor price movements in the market and allows you to optimize your cryptocurrency trading strategies.
Let’s say you want to buy 0.1 BTC if the price drops to $29,000. When you create a custom order, you will set a target price of $29,000 and an amount of 0.1 BTC. The transaction will be executed automatically once the target price is reached.
Custom orders are useful if you want to:
Buy cryptocurrency if the price goes down Sell your assets when the price reaches a high Join a rally and buy cryptocurrency if it starts to rise Put a stop loss on a position and sell half if the price goes down
Working in conjunction with the Recurring Buy and Instant Buy features, Custom Orders give you even more flexibility to trade crypto as you wish. Because each of these features supports multiple payment methods, it’s easier than ever to fund your preferred business strategy.

While Kraken will attempt to fulfill Custom Orders at the chosen price once the Custom Order is activated, there is no guarantee that the order will be executed at the price chosen in the Custom Order and the Custom Order may not be executed immediately after the Custom Order is activated.
