This event is for developers who want to build DApps that provide a seamless and enjoyable onboarding experience for core users. Developers should have basic programming skills and a desire to create new Web3 applications. Attendees will need a laptop to follow the workshop. 2. Feb 15: BUIDL on Decentralized Handshake Domain Names

Handshake is the easiest way to learn about Web3 and blockchain. In this workshop, attendees will receive a free domain from Handshake and then be taught how to create a fully decentralized website. Namebase is a gateway to Handshake and exists to enable mass adoption of Handshake.

3. Feb 15 – Create an NFT market in 1 hour

Presented by Gregory Zaitsev, CTO Unique Network

In this hands-on session, developers will have the opportunity to learn how to create a fully functional NFT marketplace. Greg Zaitsev, is the brains behind the Unique Network, the NFT chain for the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystem. Gregory Zaitsev is looking for NFT projects that want a safe home. In this session, Greg will show the deployment tools and links to the Git repository where all the relevant code is stored. Participants can implement a marketplace in a very short period of time and customize it as they see fit.

4. Feb 15: Web3 infrastructure beyond the smart contract

Presented by Red Phala

The development of Web3 and Metaverse places new requirements on the blockchain infrastructure. There is an emerging trend of running heavy applications such as real-time rendering and game servers on decentralized computing services. In this workshop, participants will learn about trustless compute services with thousands of nodes and discover Fat Contracts that aim to serve compute-intensive, low-latency applications that have never been run on-chain.

Note: A Rust toolchain development environment is required for this workshop.

5. Feb 17: Build a DAO: Cross-Chain Governance with Tally and Optimism

Hosted by Tarrenceva of Tally and DopeWars

If you are looking to learn about DAOs and how to create and implement your own, this workshop will give you the best insights into the world of DAOs. In this workshop, attendees will learn how to implement a DAO on Optimism and manage an L1 Treasury with it, enabling economic governance while maintaining layer 1 DeFi access. Tally builds tools for DAOs, helping users to easily join decentralized organizations and make community decisions together.

Attendees are required to bring a laptop and prepare in advance to clone the offered demo.

6. Feb 17 – How to create mobile wallets for iOS

Presented by Balance

A discussion and brainstorm on the future of building mobile DApp standards, wallet standards, and decentralization. This session will focus on how developers can collaborate to build the Web3 ecosystem together using DApps and wallets. Brainstorm with presenters to resolve wallet security and ease of user experience.

7. Feb 19: NEAR NFT workshop in Rust

Presented by Benjamin Kurrek, co-founder of Fayyr

Learn how to create exciting technology using the NEAR ecosystem, a sharded, proof-of-stake, layer-one blockchain. As a Developer Relations Engineer, Ben is immersed in the ecosystem and is in constant communication with both the community and other members of the NEAR team.
